Your Link Between English
and West African Languages
About us
Born a Serahule and speaking three of West Africa’s most important languages — Serahule / Soninke, Wolof, and Mandinko — fluently.
My role extends beyond direct translation: I ensure that both sides truly understand each other, even when there are English words that have no direct equivalent in West African languages.
I have extensive experience interpreting for people from:
- The Gambia
- Senegal
- Mali
- Guinea
- Sierra Leone
Over the years, I’ve worked with:
- Social services and local councils
- Solicitors and housing associations
- NHS hospitals and clinics
- Schools and universities
- The Home Office and immigration services
- Private companies and community organisations
